A little out of the way depending on where you’re staying but an absolute GEM and a firm favorite of the Las Vegas Hangout Team.  If you’re staying anywhere around Caesars palace area, then this is definitely worth a visit.  Delicious, great quality and massive portions all at excellent value, be prepared to leave this place feeling very full! Great variety of breakfast dishes, lovely dinner menus and great offers  Ellis Island has a small Casino, bar as well as a restaurant so whilst your visiting, why not check out the bar, they have their own brewery on site and run special offers during games, e.g. $1 a pint of their site brewed beer!

Earl of Sandwich

Location:  3667 Las Vegas Blvd S, Planet Hollywood

As the name might suggest this place sells the best sushi…only kidding.  This sandwich joint is located on the strip and is reasonably cheap.  You’re looking at around $7 you for a hot sandwich.  I do jest, but actually,  the place does sell more than sandwiches and also serves salads, wraps, pizza, breads, soup, and desserts.  Earl of Sandwich is also open 24 hours, so great if you fancy a late snack after all that partying.

Tacos El Gordo

There’s a few of these restaurants around Las Vegas but this one in particular is conveniently located on the strip itself. Prices start at just a couple of dollars per taco, however one will most probably leave you hungry so bear that in mind.  Perfect for a little snack.

Orleans Courtyard Café

Location:  4500 W Tropicana Ave

This typical Café offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options.  A great little place and reasonably priced with a burger setting you back about $10.  The only downside to this is that it’s off Las Vegas Blvd, which is about a 1.5 mile walk along the road opposite the MGM.

Viva Las Arepas
